Remarks:
USGS relief data. Besides the 1996 outline-map version, this is one of ten larger, printable versions, with varying resolution and content. The tabs enable them to be folded and pasted into pseudo-globe octahedrons. (Furuti's truncated octahedron variants make a closer approximation of a globe, but their cut-to-fold layout is not a Butterfly Map: instead, a disparate pattern, not included in this gallery.)
