Instead of telescoping the score with repeats, alternate endings, and alternate melodies, I have spread out the arrangement to give every verse its own notation: to facilitate singing, as well as comparison of English and Esperanto syllabication.

Thus, in my score layout, I allow two notes for every number-word after "five", even though "seven" is the only two-syllable example there in English, except "'leven". That way, I was able at times to fit in an extra Esperanto syllable if needed, because its words tend to be longer, while its numbers two through ten are all one syllable.

So, as arranged here, four of those six English numbers (except seven and 'leven) have a stretch between two notes, likely omitted when sung, but without losing the time signature or rhythm in either language:
For the first gift, I thought I had a translation play on words by the Esperanto "perdrik'", pronounced "pair-dreek" in place of "pear tree", even though "perdrik" is the partridge. (My Esperanto being, "Pir-arbon kun unu perdrik'.", literally, "Pear-tree with one partridge.") However, I later saw in Wikipedia that possibly there was a long-ago French version, in which partridge is "perdrix",  and perhaps mis-transcribed into English as "pear tree".

Most of the gifts are similar to the English, except that I had to finesse the second and third:

Two turtle doves: the Esperanto for pigeons, etc., "kolombojn", does not fit the meter. I tried "kver-birdojn", = coo-birds, but "kver" is too similar to "kvar" (four), and could confuse the counting sequence; so I took the liberty of using "Kant-birdojn, du", two song-birds.

Three French hens: I only had room for "Franc-kokojn, tri", which are French cocks, not hens ("kokinojn"). After gift five, where the melody changes, I had to drop "Franc-" as well, so we end up with "Kokojn, tri", three cocks. All the more noise for the recipient.
